1. In TradeStation, open a new chart that has no VSA indicators on it. If there are charts open with VSA indicators close them.
2. Right-click on the chart and select Insert Analysis Technique.
3. Select the Indicator tab.
4. Make sure that the Prompt for Format box is checked, then select the TG_VSAPlugin_4_7 indicator.
5. Select the Inputs tab if it is not selected.
6. Enter your email address in the ActivationName field. Make sure that you put your email address between the quotation marks.
7. Enter your activation code in the ActivationCode field and make sure that the activation code is between the quotation marks.
8. Click OK.
9. Wait for the TG_VSAPlugin indicator to activate. This will be apparent when the diamonds and VSA sow and sos indicators appear on the chart. If they are not active after a couple of minutes check your email address and your activation code in the settings. If they are correct and the software has still not activated, open a new ticket.
10. After the TG_VSAPlugin has activated correctly, activate the TG_VSAScanner.
11. Right-click on the chart and select Insert Analysis Technique.
12. Make sure that the Prompt for Format box is checked, then select the TG_VSAScanner_4_7 indicator.
13. Select the Inputs tab if it is not selected.
14. Enter your email address in the ActivationName field. Make sure that you put your email address between the quotation marks.
15. Enter your activation code in the ActivationCode field and make sure that the activation code is between the quotation marks.
16. Click OK.
17. Wait for the TG_VSAScanner_4_7 to activate. Check for the activation by opening the Scan manager or All Scanners. If it does not open wait a little longer and if they open gray in color then check your activation name and code for the correct spelling.
18. Once activated, you may open additional charts of different instruments and apply one of the included groups (templates).
