This short solution will explain how to sort MetaStock data alphabetically.


To sort alphabetically do the following.

  1. Click File on the menu.
  2. Choose Open MetaStock chart. 
  3. Click on the Loading Options tab. 
  4. Check the box labeled Use alphabetical sort order for MetaStock navigation and choose Symbol.
  5. I also suggest that you check the box labeled Ignore individual chart colors. Always use default settings.
  6. Close the window.
